Initiative types

  • In order to enable people and nature to coexist in times of climatic, resource, and financial insecurity, REDAA will fund interdisciplinary, locally-led projects in sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, and Southeast Asia.
Visit the REDAA website for further information and application instructions.
  • In order to strengthen their data, resources, civic engagement, and governance capabilities, locally-led initiatives (organizations with strong systems assisting Indigenous Peoples and local communities work) will get support from REDAA.
  • Every REDAA-supported project must show how it positively addresses issues like gender equality and social inclusion, as well as integrated action for the environment and the climate. They should each concentrate on one or more of the priority themes.
